Greetings! My name is Kristi. I am a wife, mother and grandmother who adores her family.

I enjoy a life of simplicity, reveling in walks through our town, sitting on the front porch swing, gardening, baking and socializing with family, friends and neighbors. I am caring, creative, adventurous, friendly, curious and active. I enjoy gardening, books, hiking, history, camping, music, cycling, art, cooking and philosophy.

From a young age I enjoyed caring for babies and children. I began babysitting when I was just ten years old. In 1992, I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and began teaching preschool. Realizing that I did not enjoy the institutional setting, I chose instead to become a professional nanny. Over nine years, I had the privilege of working with several different families. I have spent twenty-three years as a homemaker, mother and educator. For the past two years, I have enjoyed caring for children as a nanny again.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a full time nanny for nine years. I taught preschool for two years. I have cared for children since I was young. I have been a volunteer in church nurseries, Sunday school teacher, coach, camp counselor, music teacher, mother, homeschool educator, etc. Most recently, I have been caring for children in the Tulsa area as a professional nanny for the past two years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite activities as a nanny have been going on walks or bike rides, going to the beach, playing at playgrounds, accompanying children to lessons (gymnastics, piano and swimming), exploring zoos, museums and amusement parks, participating in library programs, attending music classes and joining playgroups. While at the families' homes, I have enjoyed engaging children in outdoor play, swimming, gardening, reading, singing, dancing, artwork, cooking and other creative activities.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children with learning disabilities including dyslexia. Our friends have a daughter with cerebral palsy. I have cared for children with down syndrome.
