I have about 8 years of experience taking care of geriatrics working as a certified nursing assistant. I am an aunt to 8 nieces and nephews and we always have a great time together
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Considering it is now summer and unfortunately the quarantine does not work very well with children because they need to always be doing something. I personally love to do arts and crafts, occasionally I would to go to the store to get water balloons and sprinklers for those hot days. Possibly fishing, hiking and bird watching. I love learning and teaching what I can so even homework can definitely be made fun, too.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Knowing that children do not come with instructions but the best way to understand them is to think like them. Music, crafts, dance parties, constant entertainment and of course food. Being able to be open minded and believing that there is no such thing as a stupid question.
