A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Kristin! I’m one of 7 kids and have always loved being around children. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment. I taught martial arts to K–5th graders, focusing on respect, kindness, confidence, and self-control. I’ve also nannied weekly, including care for a child with Type 1 Diabetes, which taught me to be attentive, calm, and diligent.

I believe kids respond best when they are shown the same respect we ask from them. I love to play, be creative, and have fun, while also encouraging structure, boundaries, and strong character. I also have my own 8-month-old son who will be with me while I nanny, and being a mom has deepened my patience and understanding of a child’s needs.
