Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Worked at library where I assisted with children of all ages. Volunteered as a tutor for elementary aged children. Babysat for my family. Worked as a caregiver for an elderly patient, where I learned proper first aid as well as several other transferable skills.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts with children, using air dry clay, finger painting, or yarn. I enjoy going on walks and taking them to the park or pool. Outdoor activity is really important to me and the development of children, so we will do something outside everyday the weather permits! I enjoy dancing and anything that will get them moving and off the couch.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with a hoyer lift, bedpan, feeding tube, and administering medicine. I do not have specific experience with children with special needs, but I have experience working with elderly patients with physical disabilities.
