A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Kristina. I'm a proud mother of three boys and a naturally outgoing, caring, and dependable person. I have a passion for working with children and bring both personal and professional experience to the table. I’m CPR certified, trained in working with children with disabilities, and currently pursuing my RN license.

I’m reliable, responsible, and always willing to go above and beyond. I have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and a flexible schedule. I’m also comfortable with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry—I treat every child in my care as if they were my own.

If you have any questions or need additional information, I’d be happy to provide it. Thank you for considering me!

— Kristina

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Raising my own three boys has given me hands-on, full-time experience with children of different ages and needs.

I have frequently cared for my nieces, nephews, and family friends’ children, sometimes for extended periods, including overnight care.

I’ve provided childcare for families in my community, which included responsibilities such as school drop-off/pick-up, meal prep, homework help, and bedtime routines.

I’ve worked with children with disabilities and special needs, applying patience, understanding, and certified training in that area.

I’ve volunteered in daycare and classroom settings, helping with group activities, supervision, and learning support.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in fun and educational activities that match their age and interests. Some of my favorites include:

Arts and crafts (drawing, painting, DIY projects)

Reading books and storytelling

Outdoor play like going to the park, nature walks, or playing ball games

Educational games and learning activities, including basic numbers, letters, or homework help

Singing, dancing, and age-appropriate music time

Baking or simple cooking projects (when appropriate and supervised)

Imaginative play like building forts, playing dress-up, or role-playing games

I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting and nurturing relationship with both the child and the family. It’s about creating a safe, loving environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and free to be themselves. Consistency, patience, and genuine care are key.

As a nanny, I’m not just a caretaker—I’m a role model, a guide, and someone who plays a meaningful role in a child’s early development. Being dependable, respectful of the family’s values, and fully present every day is what makes this work so important and rewarding.

My experience with special needs children...

I have hands-on experience working with children who have physical and developmental disabilities. I’m certified in caring for children with special needs and have provided one-on-one support that includes helping with daily routines, managing behaviors, assisting with mobility, and creating a safe, structured environment.

I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting to each child’s unique needs. My approach is always compassionate and focused on encouraging independence, building trust, and providing a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.

I’m also currently working toward becoming a registered nurse (RN), which deepens my understanding of medical care and emotional support for children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a shy, quiet child come out of their shell through consistent care and creative play. Over time, we built such a strong bond that they began opening up, smiling more, and even initiating activities they used to be hesitant about—like singing and storytelling. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I played a part in that was incredibly rewarding.

Moments like that remind me why I love this work—because it’s not just about caring for children, it’s about helping them thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
