More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Initially worked for Department of Defense in their school age programs for military children. I created and taught lessons. I finished my module training for infants, school age and teens. Because I worked with so many ages I was moved to sites throughout the DMV. moved a round a lot from various sites whenever cover was needed. I also worked at a church for ten years on Sundays as the infant toddler coordinator. This is when I became a nanny. I am familiar with local activities. I enjoy going to the park and walks. I'm an avid reader and constantly talk, sing, and read. I focus all my attention on the children under my care. I don't socialize and sit around. I have experience with newborns, special needs, and twins/ multiples. I enjoy helping them understand the world around them while encouraging them to explore. I am never far away and always available to help when they need it, while also giving them space to do things on their on. I am very patient and never yell.
