A little bit about me

Experienced Sitter who absolutely loves children. I have helped raise some of my nieces and nephews, as well as well as children from people I went to church with growing up. I have been babysitting since I was 11.
The most children I have watched at one time has been six. They ranged from age 1 to age 12. I have also taken care of a friend's children just a few years ago every day all day for roughly 3 months while their mother was going through a tough time. There were 4 children ranging in ages 9-17.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat multiple children at one time for several days at a time as well as all the time for a few months. I have also worked in the healthcare field as a home health aide for the mentally and physically handicapped.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing hide and seek, and tag are some of the games I like to play with children outdoors as well as playing with squirt guns. Indoor activities like playing dress up and house, as well as, arts and crafts are some I enjoy. If it's a game or activity I haven't done yet, I am still willing to learn and play them with the children just to see them happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The things that matter to me about being a nanny is seeing the kids have fun and still lbe safe while doing so. Getting to see them and help them through some of life's challenges and they appreciating you being their at that moment just brightens up my day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with autistic children as well. I am really close with a cousin of mine who is autistic.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A moment that sticks out in my mind is one time I was waiting for my ride home to come and this little 5 year old I had been taking care of overheard me tell her mom it was my boyfriend who was stopping to get me and take me home. That little girl hurried into her room and put on a little skort outfit and came out to me and asked me if she looked pretty enough to meet my boyfriend. It was the cutest yet silliest thing I've had a kid say to me.
