I worked in an in-home daycare that had 5-8 school aged children. This was in West Virginia and I worked there for about a year.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love hands on activities. Crafts and games always work but kids love wacky things. Thinking out of the box with activities is my favorite thing to do, kids have a huge imagination and it doesn't take much to spark it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The child. That is first and foremost 100 percent of the time. We are hired to make sure not only is the child comfortable, happy and entertained but also the parents are happy with us as well. We need to make sure the needs of everyone is met.

My favorite moment is when you can tell the child and family is finally comfortable and fully relaxed with me. It lets me know that I am doing this job right and makes me proud that the parents trust me with their whole world.
