A little bit about me

I have been teaching and taking care of children for over 40 years. I have taught at Montessori preschool for 4years. I have been a nanny for children ages 16 months to 13 years old. I prepare developmental activities appropriate for the ages of the children. I have excellent references. I love being around children. I have great sense of humor. I recently have been helping out a family with three children ages 4, 6 and 7 and have been with them for two years. I am an expert in gentle parenting and positive redirection techniques. They call me the child whisperer. I can whisper to them and their demeanor changes for the better. I like using a soft voice and giving positive reinforcement. I am loving, kind, consistent, fun and helpful. I anticipate the child's needs and I am proactive. I have taken many child care classes and have CPR/ first aid training. I have a background check available and have my own car. I am a non-smoker.
