A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Lara! I have worked as a nanny many times throughout my 36 years of life. For a baby as young as one month to three school age children. All my life i have wanted to be a mother so babysitting from even my cousins, two younger brothers and many family friends growing up as well. I have worked in healthcare for 13 years and managed a behavioral health clinic in Az before getting pregnant and having my first child, my babygirl Everleigh who will be two in June! I am looking for a nanny job that I could bring my Daughter as I just can not fathom paying someone to do my dream job. I know it may not be everyone’s so I would love to help love and teach your children during my time spent with them! I currently work for UW Medicine remotely but find myself too be too busy throughout the day and would have to look into care for her also. I would love to help other families with their precious little ones while also not having to leave mine throughout the day!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nanny three school age children in Gog Harbor about 10 years ago while in between jobs. Nanny for a one month old little boy in Az. Babysat growing up for my two younger brothers, cousins, family friends. Raising a almost two year old little girl currently.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Park. Learning word, colors, and manners. Taking them to sporting events, school events, or any extra curricular activity. Doing arts and crafts or fun things to keep their little minds thinking.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Trust. Knowing the parents trust me with their most prized possessions as well as the kids trust being in my care and know that although I am not their parent I always want to best for them and enjoy having fun with them as well as teaching and learning with them!

My experience with special needs children...

No experience with special needs. I managed a behavioral health outpatient clinic in Az for 2 years before getting pregnant and moving back to WA

Having the kids grow to trust me and know that I am a safe place for them (like they would a parent) as I would love them and always want the best for them.
