A little bit about me

I have a 7 year old, we do homeschooling and we love doing art as well. I have a mini hobby lobby in my home. I have done child care and home health care as well. March 28th I had background check and finger printing done in the state of NM, Im going to request copies so that I can bring them with me. I am a very organized person by nature, so always having a calendar of what needs to get done that week is essential, as I call my planner my brain. I also love preping meals and cooking a hearty healthy 3 courses. I sit down on Sundays and write out my meals for the week and then do grocery shopping Sunday Afternoons. Saturdays I clip coupons and wash bedding and shampoo carpets once a month. Monday through Friday we do school for 4 hours and then we make art and candles in the afternoons, eat dinner, take baths and get in bed by 8pm.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, swimming, teaching ASL and school work like ABC mouse, elephant math, reading eggs and science projects. I also enjoy teaching music and dancing. Playing at the park, and playing kick the ball or toss the ball around.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making the kids and parents happy. A nutritious meal and making sure they are healthy, and having them on a routine, such as eating at the same time and going to sleep at the same time. As well as being able to teach them new things that they are interested in. Organization and tidiness for the parents so that when they get home or have a day off they don't have to worry about cleaning the house and they can just relax and have fun with the kids.

My experience with special needs children...

yes I have worked with those whom have down syndrome, aspergers syndrome, Autistic children. I use to volunteer in high school to work with special needs for two periods.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when they learn new things, or when they get excited about what they learned. My daughter would get excited when she learned a new sign using ASL.
