The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is having the love of children just being nurturing caring understanding and helpful I tell people who inquire about working in daycares or schools you can’t work with kids if you don’t have love compassion and understanding it won’t work period‼️because kids will test your boundaries but you have to know what to do when put in situations u have to persevere I been doing this too long I have a lot of experience so I know, I’ve dealt with some tough kids 🤣but I was determined to help them I will not quit on them I refused to failed them I will not give up I’m very committed to my job and it’s also important to have skills knowledge and experience and education also just being a great role model for the child/children making sure the children develop certain skills necessary for learning also developing positive relationship with kids is a very important part about being a nanny and being trustworthy flexible and reliable as well
My experience with special needs children...
Kids with Autism Asperger syndrome cognitive delayed hearing impairment and behavioral problems and kids with ADHD
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most memorable nanny moment I had with my kid is when I taught this little boy with autism how to keep his clothes and shoes on but the funny part about this story is he only wanted to wear my jacket and shoes so every time we would get ready to go he would grab my jacket and try to take my shoes off my feet and put them on his feet and he would give me his shoes to put on my feet it was hilarious and cute I eventually taught him to wear his own clothes and shoes but I was so happy understood the concept because it was very challenging to get him to keep his clothes and shoes on he wound strip anywhere it didn’t matter where we were he would get completely naked so I was very pleased i targeted that very challenging behavior
