During my young adult years from 18 to 22 I was a caregiver at a preschool and loves taking care of children this would ultimately shape my life as a nurture.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I Love talking to children! When you allow yourself to be open and transparent with children a warm reception is mostly giving which makes for a bond that is trusted. I love helping them develop in ways that tap into their potential (this is best seen through homework & art time) where they can be creative! I love cooking so I definitely like when they show interest in the kitchen. I like music so dancing is another language of love, so I Love to watch children dance to their favorite music it’s an art of expression ! I like outdoor activities with children as well, it helps them to release bottled up energy while having fun doing sports, park time or even being environmentally aware of their surroundings! I love learning what makes them happy! What I’ve learned most about children just want to have funI just want them to be comfortable and have fun in a structured environment that alines with the families core values while they are being cared for by me!

My experience with special needs children...
My experience started with special needs, When I decided to become a PCA (patient care assistant) for a family with a son that suffered from paralysis. Kevin was very funny witty smart and could hold wonderful conversations yet his inability to move around or even feed or do anything for himself what is the reason his family needed 24 hour care for him in which I spent a great deal of my time being a part of this family as I helped Kevin on a day-to-day basis. The family really loved the relationship that we shared to the point I was always in high demand!❤️It was no secret, I loved spending time with not only Kevin but the rest of his family I considered my extended family as well. When caring for special needs children they become a part of your family forever.
