38 year old entrepreneur, I have worked with children in many settings from childcare to children’s photography. I am very patient and believe that children have the ability to learn and develop best when allowed to be creative. So I typically foster environments where rules are known and understood but a lot of fun is had by all! I am a fan of technology for all of it’s advancements and how it keeps us all connected but screen time takes a backseat to coloring, play dough, arts and crafts and safe distanced outdoor time! In these stressful times for all of us, my goal os to keep the adventure in the lives of children I care for… let them be little for it only last a short while! The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe environment for the child and parent. I like to learn the children’s personalities and their comforts so that their level of anxiety around being with someone new isn’t a shock to their world. Same goes for the parents, leaving your child/children with someone you may not know as well can be a difficult task so my goal is to gain the trust of all involved so that everyone’s day can go as seamlessly as possible. I strive to be the best at everything I do and I understand the importance of having a true village to aide in a child’s development so I become a part of the village

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was singing a wake up song to one of my former family’s 3 year old daughter. The song selection for that day was the intro to Erykah Badu and Andre 3000’s song Hello. My family’s daughter had never heard the song before but the catchiness of the rhythm got the best of her! She smiled so big and said, “I like that song!” From that moment forward, “Hello hello hey hello hello! Hello hello hey hello hello” is how she greeted the day after every nap!
