The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when a toddler I cared for, who had initially been very shy and reluctant to try new things, finally overcame her fear of the swings at the park. After weeks of gently encouraging her and showing her that it was fun, she finally sat down on the swing, and with a big smile, asked me to push her higher. The joy and confidence on her face in that moment were priceless. It reminded me of how small, patient steps can lead to big milestones, and it reinforced why I love being part of children's growth and development.
