I work as a paraprofessional at an elementary school in the learning lab with children grades K-5 that have behavioral and mental complications. Before I worked as a paraprofessional, I was a babysitter for 3 years for one family and occasionally other families when I had extra time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to let children explore their creativity by doing activities such as painting, coloring, and all sorts of fun crafts! I enjoy ensuring that kids learn academics while also having as much fun as possible. I also love playing outside with the children whether it’s to build a snowman in the winter or ride a bike in the summer. Overall, I love to have as much fun as possible while playing and learning!

The most important part about being a babysitter/nanny to me, is creating a safe and fun space for a child to grow and discover the world! I also love being able to develop that connection with a family that allows them to feel comfortable and safe with me and the care I provide for their children.
