A little bit about me

I have so much love and nurturing to give since I don’t have any grandchildren of my own. I am currently retired and occasionally work in a PreSchool caring for 7 babies under 1 year old. I would love the opportunity to work with babies who I can teach Spanish to. I’ve previously cared for a child from the time he was 8 weeks old through part of high school. The father took a new position out of town and they moved away. I taught him Spanish!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Nanny for a child from 8 weeks until he was in high school. Currently I am retired and working part time in a PreSchool caring for 6-7 babies under a year old. I have no grandchildren of my own; but I do have an abundance of love to offer all bottled up!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to ride bikes, sing, dance, crafting, gardening, walks baking, fishing and more. I am much more active than most women my age!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part is to be active. Children have so much energy. Interacting with them at their level is very important. I also don’t think it’s a good idea to allow a child to use electronic devices. They should be active, playing and learning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Saying goodbye to the child I cared for for so many years was so hard. It was a bitter sweet moment. We kept in touch for a long time. Hearing him speak Spanish to me just melted my heart. I think that would be one of my favorite moments as a nanny. I’m n the PreSchool I have many, my number one would be when they see me coming and they run to me with arms wide open!!
