My experience with special needs children...
I have only babysat an autistic two year old boy, I used to watch him every day for about 3 months and loved every second of it, although challenging at some points, he was a lovely child. I would be comfortable babysitting kids with autism, I do not have experience with any other special needs children though.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My 10 month old niece is always laughing, there was this one time where I was talking with her mother and I just looked at her and she bursted out laughing. She warms my heart!
