I started out as a volunteer at a Christian Academy, then ended up staying with them for 10 years on payroll. Since then I worked in two different daycare settings until 2020 when I became a full-time nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is making sure that you are treating the NK as if they are one of your own and showing them unconditional love as well as teaching them right from wrong. Parents trust strangers to come into their home and help take care of their most precious gifts, and I want them to know that their child/children will always be safe with me.
My experience with special needs children...
I do occasional date nights for the sweetest little none verbal autistic boy that up until recently was on a feeding tube.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I walk into the door every morning and the littles yell my name and run up to me for big hugs. It lets me know that I am doing my job the correct way.
