Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I work for JCPRD in the after school care program at Countryside Elementary, where I supervise and engage with elementary- age children daily from 3 pm- 6pm. I reguarly baby sit my three-year-old cousins, helping with meals, playtime, and routines. Also though FEA I observe classrooms and spend time with the kids. I currently am observing kindergarten but I mostly have observed Fourth Graders!

I love doing Crafts, coloring, games, reading books, outdoor play, and fun outing like the zoo, pool, libarares, and parks. I enjoy keeping kids active, creative, and engaged while making sure they feel safe and heard.

Through IPS and my work with JCPRD, I've learned how to be patient, understanding, and supportive of children with different needs. I always approach every child with kindness, patience, and attention to what works best for them.
