More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to nannying, I worked for Experience Camps, a nonprofit that provides free summer camp experiences for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. Through this role, I received basic clinical training to support grieving children and spent extensive hands-on time mentoring kids ranging from first graders to teenagers. It deepened my understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and creating safe, supportive environments where children feel seen and heard. Mentorship is something I'm incredibly passionate about, and I love helping kids build confidence, resilience, and curiosity while simply getting to be kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating a balance of adventure, creativity, and cozy moments! You'll often find us at the library, the park, museums, aquariums, farmers markets, or community events, always looking for new places to explore. At home, I love baking, cooking together, building with LEGOs, doing Pinterest crafts, reading, writing, puzzles, board games, scavenger hunts, and turning an ordinary movie into a full-on cozy movie night. I also love hiking, picnics, sports games, dance parties, bubble blowing, and neighborhood walks.
One thing that's really important to me is involving kids in everyday life. I love having them help grocery shop, plan meals, cook dinner, and make decisions along the way. I believe some of the best learning happens in ordinary moments, and I love finding ways to make the mundane feel exciting, meaningful, and fun while encouraging curiosity, independence, and confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure kids genuinely love being kids. I want them to feel safe, heard, understood, and celebrated for exactly who they are. Every day is a chance to learn something new, build confidence, and create joyful memories.
I also believe in knowing when to gently challenge kids to step outside their comfort zones and when they simply need someone to meet them where they are. Every child is different, and I love working alongside parents and caregivers to support their growth, encourage their curiosity, and help them become kind, confident, resilient little humans who know they have people cheering them on every step of the way.

My experience with special needs children...
While I haven't worked exclusively as a special needs nanny, I have experience supporting children with a wide range of personalities, learning styles, and emotional needs. My work with Experience Camps, where I received basic clinical training to support grieving children, taught me how to meet kids where they are with patience, empathy, and flexibility. I'm comfortable learning each child's unique needs, following care plans and family guidance, and creating a safe, encouraging environment where they can thrive. I'm always eager to learn and adapt to best support the children in my care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny memories was getting invited to my first nanny kid's Mother's Day celebration. He asked me to come watch his performance and gave me the flower craft and necklace he made. I definitely cried. 🥹 It was one of those moments that reminded me why I love working with kids so much. You spend years showing up for them in a million little ways, and then one day you realize they see you as someone they really trust and love. It's a memory I'll always hold onto.

Babysitter Available in Los Angeles, CA: Josephine N.
Hi! I'm a 25-year-old UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Molecular Environmental Biology. I recently completed a postbaccalaureate program at UC Davis as I prepare for a career in medicine and have now moved back home to Los Angeles!
As the oldest of five siblings, I've spent years caring for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teens. I babysat throughout high school and, more recently, worked with a wonderful family while living in Davis. Now that I'm back in LA, I'd love to find a family to babysit for here!
I also worked as a Kumon tutor and am happy to help with English, math, and homework. My experience working as a medical assistant has also made me responsible, attentive, and comfortable caring for others. I'm reliable, patient, and easygoing, and I enjoy reading, baking, going for walks, and finding fun activities to do with kids!
