Hi! Im Lauren, a salt lake native with over 10 years of experience in child care. I have limited experience with special needs children. I am a quick learner and connect well with children on the spectrum.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was trying to teach a student a forward roll. Usually children pick this within a few tries but I had a student who's body would not let her do it. She would get stuck and her body wouldn't trust the mat would protect her. It took us nearly a year but she never got frustrated. My patience paid off when one day she just randomly did the perfect roll. She was so surprised, i was so surprised. I have never seen someone so happy with learning a new skill, it was magical for everyone. Even the other students were cheering! This happened to me almost 10 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday!
