A little bit about me

With 16+ years of experience providing home care across the full circle of life, I bring a unique blend of newborn expertise, end-of-life care, and a deep-rooted passion for supporting families through life’s most meaningful transitions.

As a certified Newborn Care Specialist and longtime CNA, my approach is grounded in developmental awareness, emotional presence, and holistic support. I view caregiving as a partnership built on trust, compassion, and communication.

I’ve supported children with special needs, including complex medical and developmental conditions, and have experience adapting care with empathy and skill. Most recently, I cared for a baby from 3 to 23 months (Oct 2023–June 2025) and another from newborn to 6 months (Apr–Sept 2023).

Whether nurturing new life or honoring an elder’s legacy, I strive to be a calm, dependable presence during seasons of change. This work has shaped me deeply, and I would be honored to be recruited to your home team.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve supported families from all walks of life, including those navigating Medicaid, Medicare, CAP-C, CAP-DA, and private duty care, as well as working professionals in healthcare, education, law enforcement, therapy, real estate, media, and remote-based fields. I’ve helped families access disability services and navigate the transition from pediatric to adult care, advocating for continuity and support. I’ve also cared for declining spouses and aging parents, offering hands-on care and guidance through palliative care, hospice, and beyond with presence, empathy, and discretion. My role often includes developmental tracking, gentle routines, meal prep, and creating calm, nurturing environments during all seasons of life. Specializing in home-based care, I’ve learned that caring for those just beginning life, those nearing the end, or any age in between requires the same steady presence, patience, and love. While their needs may differ, the heart of caregiving remains the same.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I most enjoy baby sign language, wholesome meal prep, weekly art projects, outdoors activities, music, and books. I also provide help with skills including: social/emotional, gross motor, fine motor, cognitive, speech and self care. I am able to focus on environment specific skills for at home, at the table, outside, car, and social gatherings.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building a secure, loving relationship where a child feels safe to grow, explore, and thrive. I prioritize safety in every aspect of care, including physical supervision, safe sleep practices, emotional security, and consistency in routines. I believe in showing up with presence, patience, and awareness, creating a calm home rhythm that nurtures the whole child in mind, body, and heart. I also strive to align with each family's values and rhythms, offering care that reflects both the child's needs and the parents' approach.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was watching a baby I cared for sign “more please” during mealtime after weeks of practicing baby sign language. Seeing those first signs of communication and knowing I helped nurture that moment melted my heart.

Another was watching the same child water the plants in their family garden and name each one. It was a beautiful reminder of how daily routines, care, and connection can spark confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
