I volunteer as a cheer coach for 3rd-8th grade girls, I’ve been babysitting in my neighborhood since middle school and I love kids! I have experience with all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I live by the lake and in the summer time I love taking kids their to swim. I love to bike and go for walks, or play other games outside like soccer or baseball. Fun indoor activities i usually do are movies, forts, board games (or any other game they like playing), baking/cooking, and reading.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is so meaningful and impactful. All of the babysitters I had growing up I looked up to so much. They all helped shaped the person that I am today. I would love to create the same experience that I had for other kids, and help learn and grow in life. I would love to develop some of the same life long connections that I did with my babysitters, with other kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I work with the LRC class at my high school, and going to their class is the highlight of my day! It’s my favorite thing to do and a huge stress reliever!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Last winter I was babysitting and it was a couple days before Christmas, I walked in the door and the girls had me wait in the living room. 15 mins later, they brought me Christmas presents they that they had made. It was the sweetest thing ever, and I will always remember it!
