More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was the Lead infant and toddler teacher at multiple Bright Horizons locations for many years. I was a Program Manager at Next Generation Children’s Center and lead the Infant program as well as the toddler and pre-school programs as needed. I spent many years as a nanny and worked with several families in a nanny share position with children ranging in age from new born to 7 years old. I’ve also spent time as a PCA for adults with special needs and physical disabilities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts and any type of hands on projects. Imaginative play and anything that gives the child a chance to express their creativity. I also enjoy helping older children navigate the world while learning to balance responsibility and time with friends and family.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Reliability and consistency. The nanny is often the glue that holds it all together for a busy family running in a million directions. As the nanny I understand that I need to be punctual, present and dependable for both parents and children. The children need to be able to trust that I’ll be a consistent partner while they go through everything life throws at them.

My experience with special needs children...

Through my work in Early Childhood Education I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with both physical and cognitive disabilities. I have personal experience working with family members with Autism and a variety of learning challenges.

Being able to witness a child’s growth from infancy through college graduation and beyond. I’ve had the privilege of seeing these transformations with several families I’ve been connected to for over a decade and beyond.
