The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure every child feels safe, loved, and understood. It’s about creating a space where they can truly be themselves, grow with confidence, and know they have someone who supports them no matter what. I take pride in being a steady, caring presence in their lives—someone they can trust and feel comfortable with every day.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had the privilege of caring for two children with autism and behavioral challenges, and those experiences have taught me so much about patience, empathy, and the importance of individualized care. I also have ADHD myself, which gives me a deeper, more personal understanding of what it’s like to navigate the world with a unique perspective. Because of this, I’m especially mindful of how to support kids who may struggle with emotional regulation, focus, or sensory sensitivities. I create calm, structured environments, use positive reinforcement, and adjust my approach to meet each child where they are—always with compassion, flexibility, and respect.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was taking the kids I cared for to the pool for the day. Seeing how happy and excited they were—splashing, laughing, and just having fun—was incredibly rewarding. It was a reminder of how meaningful simple experiences can be for children, especially when they feel safe, supported, and free to enjoy themselves. Moments like that are what I love most about this work: creating joyful memories and being part of a child’s happiness.
