I have 5 years experience working with children. I have worked at Monica Ros School assisting with summer camp, supervising children in and out of the classroom and planning daily activities. I have also worked for Mary Osborne Surf Camp, teaching children ages 3-15 how to surf, along with water safety and awareness skills. Additionally, I have taught marine science to Pre-K - 12th graders at UCSB's Marine Science Institute, REEF. I enjoy teaching children because of their curiosity and excitement to learn new things. I love the outdoors, ocean and am great with animals/pets! I like to do a combination of indoor and outdoor activities with kids, such as: painting, pottery, baking, drawing, reading, swimming, biking, nature walks, learning about environment and observing wild lizards, bugs, frogs and birds.
