A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Lauryn, and I am a certified teacher in Childhood Education (Grades 1–6) and Students with Disabilities (Grades 1–6). I just graduated from Marist University last year. I was on the Marist Women’s Soccer team and have experience with coaching as well. I currently work as a permanent substitute teacher in an elementary school, where I spend most of my time in special education classrooms, including 8:1:1 settings. This has given me extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of learning, behavioral, and communication needs.
I have always loved working with children because I enjoy helping them grow both academically and personally. I also have experience collaborating with speech-language pathologists and supporting communication development, as I am currently pursuing further education in Speech-Language Pathology.
In addition to childcare, I can assist with homework, and adapt to each child’s individual needs.
