Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have hands-on experience working with children from infancy through elementary age. I’ve worked as a paraprofessional supporting kindergarten through 3rd-grade students in both general education and special education classrooms, including children with Down syndrome and autism. I also have experience as a behavior technician in a clinical setting, where I supported children with behavioral and developmental needs. In addition, I’ve babysat consistently throughout my teen years for a family with three children ages 4–9, as well as provided overnight care for infants and toddlers, including a 6-month-old and a 2-year old.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is building strong, trusting relationships with children while being attentive, patient, and genuinely caring. I believe kids thrive when they feel safe, heard, and free to have fun while learning and growing.

I’ve worked 1:1 with children with autism and Down syndrome, and in groups of two to three, children with an AAC communication device, behavior boards etc.
