A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Layla, I’m 19 years old, and i love working with kids and am trying to finish school to start getting my early childhood education! I’ve been taking carr of children since I was 11, starting with my siblings and cousins and I’ve also babysat for other families!

I don’t have any references at the moment, but I’m reliable, responsible, patient, and always make sure I’m on time. I can help with meal prep and cleaning up if there is anything extra you would like me to do i can, I will be playing games, reading books and doing flash cards to keep the children entertained!

One thing I really enjoy doing is making learning fun and personal for each child. I would make a little reward system where they can earn stars for things they do, as well as a personal folder that they can decorate and it stays at your home where they can keep their artwork, crafts, and photos. I also like to do a different word of the day and letter of the week to encourage learning throughout the week.
