Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I ran a daycare with my aunt (at home daycare) for about a year, we watched kids from 1-7 years each day. I am a senior in high school so my schedule will be not as flexible as wanted but I can try to be as flexible as possible! I also have taken multiple classes where we learned and focused on kids growth and needs. This class also provided us with a chance to watch about 8 kids during the school day at a daycare, we would make lesson plans for them, prepare lunch, read/sing to them, and change if needed!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to be outside and explore. I also love reading and singing! I am willing to help any child with homework questions or anything of that matter, and I love getting to know the kiddos.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is the well fare of these kids. Feeding them, cleaning after them, watching them and making sure they have fun! I think another big thing about being a nanny is really that communication with the parents and the ability to make those connections with them and show them why you make a good candidate to watch and care for their kids, house, or even pets!

My favorite moment as a nanny had to have been when a girl about 4 who i was babysitting walked over to me and gave me the biggest hug. she told me “you are my favorite babysitter ever.” It put the biggest smile on my face and that’s what i want to be is someone the kids will love and enjoy or be excited when I come over!
