More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a student nurse in the hospital for clinicals last January through March. I was on a birth unit caring for mothers and newborns, in Helen Devos Children's Hospital on a seizure floor, and in a home weekly working with a mother and her 5 children (all under age 6).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing sports, reading, keeping children intellectually engaged, being outside, and I strongly value doing school work with children to foster a love and appreciation of education.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is fostering a strong, trusting relationship with the families, especially the children. I want to be someone who makes you and your children feel comfortable, loved, and cared for in a safe and protected environment.

I have worked with multiple children with special needs in the hospital ranging from Down Syndrome to Cystic Fibrosis to genetic gastrointestinal polyposis.
