More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for my four younger siblings since I was 13, helping with meals, playtime, homework, and bedtime. I’ve also frequently babysat for my mom’s coworkers, giving me experience with children outside my family. These roles taught me how to handle different personalities and age groups. I’m also first aid certified, so I’m always prepared to respond calmly and safely.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, playing games, reading books, and spending time outdoors. I enjoy helping kids explore their creativity and imagination while keeping things fun and age-appropriate. I’m always happy to join in on favorite games or come up with new activities to keep them engaged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment. Kids thrive when they feel understood and cared for, and I aim to be someone they can trust, have fun with, and learn from every day.
My experience with special needs children...
While I don’t have professional experience with special needs children yet, I’m open to learning and supporting families however I can. I’m patient, attentive, and always willing to follow guidance or training to meet a child’s unique needs respectfully and safely.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was playing video and board games with two sisters I was babysitting. We laughed, bonded over the games, and had a great time together. Afterward, we went to the park and played on the playground. It was a simple, joyful day that showed how meaningful quality time with kids can be.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Arbutus, MD: Carlise C.
Hiya! I am Carlise and working with children is my passion. Starting in Special Education I found my home. Working especially with nonverbal autistic students was my niche. I have since ventured into general elementary education as a Social Emotional Learning Teacher. Working with the big feelings of small humans😊. Focusing on breath work, calming strategies, and being proactive instead of reactive. I have worked lots with little friends and their fine motor skills through calming and engaging activities such as cutting paper "grass" to reveal flowers that have emotion faces, and working through what the faces mean and what feelings are attached! I have also brought this work home to my toddler niece, who has since transitioned into school far ahead of her peers both emotionally and academically. I would LOVE to transfer these skills to a home setting, all the best parts of us humans comes from home and I'd love to bring my aspect to your family💕- Ms. C
