I’ve also frequently babysat for my mom’s coworkers, giving me experience with children outside my family. These roles taught me how to handle different personalities and age groups. One of my favorite moments was playing video and board games with two sisters I was babysitting. We laughed, bonded over the games, and had a great time together. Afterward, we went to the park and played on the playground. It was a simple, joyful day that showed how meaningful quality time with kids can be.
