Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
While my own child was in elementary school I was in the classroom 3 days a week assisting with running the crafts and projects. During those years I provided after school care for a group of her same aged peers where we had lots of outdoor adventures, lots of playground time, healthy home cooked/prepared organic snacks(which they remembered for years to come!) and lots of fun together. I've worked with 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students supporting in homework help and tutoring.
I've been staffed at a wonderful pre school, co-leading the 3/4-year-old class delivering an engaging curriculum, lots of creative play and instilling a love of learning in my students. My first year or so at the preschool I was co-leading the 18-month to 2 and 1/2-year-old class but was moved up to the 3/4's to be able to better offer my competency with that age group.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Lots of creative play, imaginative learning games, drawing, painting making paper tunnels on the floor to zoom cars through, puzzles!! Building fairy houses outside at the base of trees with little furniture even👍🏼 leaves for blankets and of course lots of good reading time

The magic that is a childs wonder as they learn and grow and delight in imaginative play. I cherish the heart of a child. The curiosity and thirst for learning so precious. The bond formed is a treasure!
