Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I bring both formal training and real-life experience to childcare. I was certified in Early Childhood Education through Sheboygan Falls High School in 2000 and worked as a preschool teacher, focusing on children ages 2–4—my favorite stage, where learning and growth happen so quickly.
Beyond the classroom, I served as a Girl Scout leader from 2007 to 2010, helping young girls build confidence, creativity, and life skills. As a mother of two now-grown children, and having fostered two additional children, I have extensive hands-on experience providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
I truly enjoy supporting children as they learn, explore, and become themselves.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids engaged in ways that are both fun and meaningful. Indoors, I enjoy arts and crafts, sensory play, reading stories, baking, and imaginative play like building forts or dress-up. Outside, I’m all about fresh air—park trips, nature walks, chalk art, bubbles, and simple games. I like creating a balance of creativity, learning, and just letting kids be kids, while making sure they feel safe, supported, and happy.

To me, being a nanny is about more than just supervision—it’s about helping children see the world with curiosity and confidence, while making sure they feel safe, valued, and understood. I also believe it’s important that parents feel at ease and trust how their children are being cared for

While I have extensive childcare experience, I don’t have specific training in special needs care. I want to be respectful of each child’s needs and ensure families have someone fully equipped to support them.
