The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters deeply to me when working with children is making sure they feel safe, heard, and supported. It’s very important to me that constant communication is effective and positive words of affirmations are being said. For example if the child I am watching accomplishes a goal I will definitely tell them they did a wonderful job. Or words like I am so proud of you. Seeing the children happy and smiling is the best feeling. And it’s effective because they are going to want to hear positive affirmations which means they will most likely continue to do good things and show positive behavior.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never worked with special needs before however I am very quick with learning any material or instructions given to me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment working with children would have to be when we played games. When I was teaching my class at the end of the day we would always have fun time and I enjoyed playing with the children and seeing them have a good time.
