More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Currently, I am working as a mother's helper for a family with one infant. My responsibilities include giving bottles, diaper changes, putting baby down for naps, and developmentally appropriate play. When time permits, I fold baby laundry, load the bottle washer, build bottles, and do other basic housekeeping. Since starting this job in August, I have discovered my passion for infant care and this is something I'd like to continue come the new year!

As for past experience, I have worked as a summer camp counselor at YMCA Camp Whittle, as well as as a day camp counselor at Riley Youth Club Sports Camp. At both camps my care for children ages 4-13 included planning and facilitating activities based on age group, managing their personal care routines (including medication schedules), resolving conflict between children, and encouraging healthy and respectful behavior towards other children and staff.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading, baking, coloring, slime making, and I'm happy to engage in pretty much any other indoor crafty activity kids may be interested in.
As for outdoors, I enjoy evening walks and trips to the park with children, as well as light gardening and play picnics.
These are activities I've done in the past, but I'd tailor my time with your children to their specific interests and hobbies.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having the opportunity to make a positive impact on a family's childcare experience! It takes a village and I love being able to make up a small part of that village!

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had any training or experience working with children who have special needs and because if this I think I would only be qualified to work with families who have children with lower support needs. I'm happy to discuss this further on a case by case bases with any interested family.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When the littles at my summer camp (4-6y/o) petitioned my boss to place me back with their age group after being assigned with upper graders for a week. It was very sweet and we had a dance party afterwards to celebrate that I was able to stay with them!

Hello! I'm an Afro-latinx, queer parent & trained postpartum doula, with a Masters in Gastronomy, & BA in Sociology of the Family & Women and Gender Studies. I've also been the sole SAHP for my beautiful triplet five year olds, since birth.
My 5 years pre-parenthood childcare experience included working with newborns-10yr old kiddos as a nanny and an enrichment teacher. I worked in restaurants & attended culinary school concurrently!
In 2024, I attended Birthing Advocacy Doula's Training program, and in 2025, renewed my CPR certifications.
With my triplets off to Kinder soon, Im free to FINALLY look for a sweet family to lend my extensive infant & child care experience, passion for postpartum aid, and excellent medicinal & comfort food culinary skills to.
I am deeply familiar with the struggles families w/ littles bear in this society. Caretaking and increasing wellness delights me. Supporting people is my calling. We just can't do it alone! If you feel moved to connect, lets chat!
