I love doing arts and crafts!! Drawing, coloring, painting, really anything I enjoy doing. When I babysit I typically will ask parents what they’re comfortable with given their child’s age and abilities. If given permission I will take kids to the zoo, on walks, to get ice cream, to the park, etc. I also would be more than happy to help with some basic schooling like reading, writing, and learning to talk and walk!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part is to love the kids you care for, but also be honest and communicate with their parents appropriately. Different parents have different rules for what their kids can and cannot do and I always make sure to ask about that, and follow their rules. Respecting the families rules as well as their home and property is very important.
