And I continue to learn from my brothers everyday! Once school begins in late September my hours of availability will be just as free and open as they are now (pretty much most of the time) because of the program I am in at my school. I bring small board games and card games and let the children decide what they want to play. I bring several fidget toys, enrichment toys, 5-10 small children's books from the dollar store for littler ones. Sometimes depending on if I know the child well I'll make a separate special kit from my general kit for when I babysit them. Before jobs, I ask parents if I can bring a small piece of candy for each child to be there, and I ask what their favorite kind is.
