My childcare experience began when I was 12 years old, coaching young swimmers (ages 9 and under), including children with special needs. I continued coaching through my teens, working at a swim school after school when I was 16. Later I spent a year as a teacher’s aide, providing both classroom support and one-on-one care for individual students. Over the years I’ve regularly babysat for family, neighbors, and families that I found online, caring for children from 6 months to 10 years old. I helped with morning and bedtime routines, prepared meals, kept them entertained, handled school and daycare pick-ups, planned day trips, and even stayed overnight when needed. I always aim to make our time meaningful- exploring together, encouraging curiosity, and helping children learn and grow. These roles have given me a strong foundation in guiding children of different ages and abilities with patience, creativity, and care.
