I enjoy engaging children in age-appropriate activities that are both fun and developmentally supportive. Indoors, I love reading books, sensory play, music and movement, arts and crafts, puzzles, and imaginative play. Outdoors, I enjoy walks, playground time, water play, and simple games that encourage movement and exploration. With infants, I focus on tummy time, interactive play, songs, and routines that support early development while creating a calm, nurturing environment.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is building trust, with both the children and their parents. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, and I take that responsibility seriously. I value being a steady, calm presence who supports growth, learning, and confidence through everyday moments and routines. I have experience working with children and adults with special needs through my role as a swim instructor, where I taught individuals ranging from toddlers to adults with varying physical, developmental, and sensory needs. I also have experience working as a high school paraprofessional, supporting students with special needs in a classroom setting. I approach all care with patience, adaptability, and an understanding of individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It’s hard to pick just one moment after being a long-term nanny — there are so many special memories. One of my favorites was hearing the little girl I cared for say she wanted to be a “paleontologist” when she grew up. She was only three, and I remember laughing in total shock because I didn’t even know she knew that word. Moments like that — getting to watch kids grow, learn, and surprise you — are what make being a nanny so rewarding to me.
