My name is Leslie, I am 22 years old and I received my bachelor’s degree in communication disorders this past summer. Since high school, I have volunteered at my local church to supervise children for the summer program. There, we guided activities everyday and provided meals. In college, I also volunteered at an after school program and assisted with tutoring students from age 5-18. I work for LAUSD as a Teacher Assistant for over 2 years now. I recently moved to Palmdale and I am looking to work closer to home. I enjoy interacting with children, helping them learn in fun ways. I have learned that every child has a distinct personality and it is important to adjust to their needs.
