Hi my name is Leslie Vavra. I am 26 years old and live in Ennis, Tx. I am married and have a wonderful daughter. i currently am a stay at home wife. I've worked in childcare at my church and have also babysat before. My experience with kids comes from growing up with 3 younger brothers and over 15 younger cousins who i grew up caring for. I've volunteered at bible schools, volunteer work for hospitals, childcare training/work through my church as well. I've always loved working with kids and they've always been very comfortable with me. I try to keep kids active or entertained with activities that are fun yet can teach something along the way and i've learned that helps them learn so many skills. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with a local parish for many years from vacation bible school to infant-teenager childcare. I have also worked as a volunteer at the Navarro hospital throughout high school. I have continued to care for kids in my community and have more in depth references if needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities can include painting, board games, crafts, simple food prep interactions etc.
Outdoor activities may be anything from park visits, short approved hikes, exploration of flowers bugs etc if possible, outdoor games etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part for me in childcare is to provide comfort and security for parents while they are out. My mother always said she could never find anyone reliable or trustworthy to care for us. I want to be able to give parents the care for their children and not have to worry and stress of who is at home watching or spending time with them.
