My experience with special needs children...
I used to hang out in my aunts room in high school, and she taught special needs. I loved hanging out with them and helping them learn. I even had the chance of being asked to their prom which was an awesome night. For a while I wanted to be a special needs teacher but recently changed it because I fell like I’m better at teaching just math.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memory was when I nannied a non verbal 4 year old. We had taken a walk around the neighborhood and I finally got him to say his first word. It was a small but a big achievement in my eyes.
