A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Lexi. I am 24 years old and I am looking for a part time nanny position. I nanny currently for two families, but unfortunately one of my families is moving out of state. I have much experience with children, including the two current positions-I have been with each family for a year and a half. Prior to that, I nannied full time for a family for a year and a half as well. I have experience teaching in the children's ministry at church, tutoring in English, and babysitting my many cousins, nephews and niece. These experiences have collectively taught me patience and responsibility and how to build relationships with each child so that they respect me as an adult, but still look to me as a friend. I have watched children from newborns to 15 years. I am currently enrolled in school, working towards my Bachelors in Educational Studies, which truly helps when working with children daily. I will then obtain my credential to become an elementary school teacher. I love theater and the arts, and I am an avid book reader and love reading with the children. I enjoy taking the kids out on many adventures and exploring with them. Overall, I love working with children more than anything and it’s what I would love to continue doing.
