Hi! My name is Alexis and I’m 19 years old. I recently graduated from Conroe High School. I’m offering babysitting, pet sitting, and house cleaning. I love working with kids because I have many young family members and i’ve done it all of my life. I’ve been taking care of infants and toddlers unpaid since I was 10. I’ve also had paid experience watching coworkers children who were ages 5-7.
I don’t currently have my CPR and First AId certification but I am more than willing to get them .

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve cared for many children throughout my life because it’s what I love to do. I’ve taken care of my sister’s 4 children ages 1-9 for several weeks intermittently. I know the struggle of twins and can handle it well. Most of my experience is with family, but I’ve had paid work from coworkers 5-7 year olds. I know many fun activities to keep children engaged and creative. I’m an excellent reader and have a 3.7 gpa so if any tutoring or help with homework is needed I’m more than happy to offer my abilities. If you need any sporting practice, I’ve played softball since I was five and I’ve helped my brother practice soccer and baseball as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy painting, coloring, and making a volcano out of newspapers. I’ve played capture the flag and hide & seek outside. I’m not great with origami, but I love making paper airplanes. I love board games as well of all variety.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing is being able to teach them new things but also learning many things from them. Kids are able to see things in a different often brighter perspective. Caring for children is a give and take. You give patience, nurturing, fun, and helping hands to their growth, but you also get great experiences, lessons learned, and memories that are unforgettable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment so far has been making bracelets out of pipe cleaners with my coworkers daughters. We spent all evening watching a movie and picking out beads to go with them.
