I love taking the kids, to parks, out to get sweet treats, libraries, aquariums, museums, etc. I also love doing arts and crafts like coloring and drawing, as well as baking together and playing pretend games!

I think the most important part about being a nanny is connecting with the kids on a deep and personal level. Taking care of them is one thing, but as important as that is, you want to make a real positive impact on their lives— especially as they're only just beginning to develop and are extremely influenced by all who surround them. When I take care of little ones, I want to make sure that every moment is a memory they can look back on in their future years and see how vibrant and colorful their childhood was.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Its a bit bland but I always loved putting nephew (five months old at the time) down for his daily naps. I would hold him in my arms and rock back and forth on my parent's rocking chair and I'd sing him songs and he'd fall right asleep, which was a miracle because he's the most energetic child I know.
