I have been baby sitting for a family since i was about 12-13 years old. Before that I used to watch my cousins, my nieces and my nephews when i was younger.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to see the way kids imagination works and I can really see this when I draw with them and I also ask like to make up new games with them or even teach them games I used to play when I was younger. I like to be active with the kids I baby sitting and play with them outside. I also enjoy making crafts up easy and fun crafts for them to do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
the most important part of babysitting to me is keeping the child safe and healthy. i believe my duties are entertaining. feeding, and cleaning up after a child. there are many more included but my main goals are always to get the child to eat something, do some kind of fun activity, clean up after us, and keep them safe while doing all of that.
My experience with special needs children...
I babysat kids in a foster home and for a few weeks I used to watch over children who had special needs and a new born who had a brain defect as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite parts of babysitting is getting the kids to open up to you and be themselves around. it brings me so much joy when i know a kid trusts me, when they warm up you they are no longer be shy and show their personality.
