Hi! My name is Katie, and I'm seeking a childcare position because I have a strong passion for creativity. I think its important for children to have a creative outlet in their lives! I sell my own creations!
I moved to South Carolina in 2022 and lived in New York, prior to that.
I began babysitting at the age of 13. I worked as a swim instructor, teachers aid for a Judaic studies class in my old Temple, along with assisting the special education class in high school for a project.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have assisted a Judaic Studies class in the Temple I once belonged to.
I assisted in a special education program in my high school through a school project.
I volunteered at a nursing home to do weekly activities in the main room, such as painting nails, bowling, bingo etc.
I started babysitting at 13, teaching swimming lessons at 21, and have worked in a handful of daycare settings.

I enjoy teaching, also incorporating that into the activities we do.

I like to assess the needs of the children, and ask myself what could the child benefit from, whether its learning to tie their shoes, dramatic play etc.
