More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was an assistant teacher for two years as a learning experience in school before getting an official job as a preschool teacher. And I’m the eldest of my siblings — a twin sister and autistic little brother who I babysit quite often.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing art and science projects, creative activities and drawing. I also love spending time outside, exploring nature and going on walks. And I enjoy playing all kinds of games, whether it’s board games, tag, dancing, or creating fun obstacle courses.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a safe and supportive environment where kids can feel comfortable being themselves. I want to build a genuine connection with them while also helping them learn and grow through everyday activities, play, and exploration. It’s important to me to support the family’s routines and values and be someone both the kids and parents can rely on.

My experience with special needs children...

I was 11 when my brother was diagnosed with autism. He is now 10 and non verbal. As the eldest, I helped raise him and babysat almost every day when he got out of school. And in my current teaching position, I’ve had a few children with different disabilities that I’ve learned to help support in their own ways and focus on their specific needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time while I was babysitting, we planned to go swimming but it sadly started raining. I encouraged her to go outside anyways and we spent a good while dancing in the rain and jumping around on the trampoline.
